Diaphragms

are basic elements or components for the measurement of pressure. They transform pressure into linear travel. Two diaphragms combined make a "Capsule" capable of measuring absolute or differential pressure. Diaphragms are also used as separator between medium and sensor element. Diaphragms are the core of pressure sensors, transducers, pressure switches, pressure gauges, sphygmomanometers etc.

Absolute Pressure Capsules

are partially evacuated and are hermetically sealed. They are used for barometric or altitude measurements.

have an opening, a bore through a connector or fitting. They are used to measure pressure and vacuum.

Diaphragm measuring systems are used for the transmission of the linear travel of the diaphragm into a circular movement (for ex. measuring system for sphygmomanometers).
